The Lee funnel seems too big for the 9mm rounds. What do you use? Thanks

Welcome Alan.
Do you have a powder through expanding die? That's what I use for all my pistol rounds and my powder funnel fits in the top of the die. Actually, I could probably get by without it and just be careful not to spill any and pour it directly into the top of the expanding die.
Please explain the problem a little more in depth so we can get a better idea of what you are dealing with.

What I do, I have the lee powder measure thrower device, I just place my brass underneath that after I get it dialed in. I throw powder directly from the powder measure into the case. I still check every 5th case to make sure that the weight is still dead on...

I haven't tried that yet. It just looks like the nozzle is bigger than the cartridge mouth. I am probably missing something. Thanks.

I've never dropped directly from my Lee powder dispenser either, the spout on the bottom flares outward and I'm afraid it would spill all over the place. I just use the powder through function on my Lee expander die, it works great!

The LEE powder funnel is tapered on the inside to seal properly on cartridge cases from .22 to .45 caliber. I have not used mine on 9mm. I dump from the Lee Perfect Powder measure directly into the case.
I throw, weigh and trickle most of my hunting ammo. I had a problem with the LEE funnel on 7mm SAUM. The tapered drop tube of the funnel was too long. The tube bottomed out on the shoulder of the case, preventing a good seal and powder would spill past the case neck. To resolve the problem, I shortened the tube of the funnel. I can no longer use that funnel for 45-70, but they are relatively inexpensive, I bought another.
I have had no trouble loading any cartridge case with the LEE powder measure. The funnel seals all cases 45 and under nicely.
My only problem has been with stick powders (4350) and near 100% load density. From the thrower, the powder just wouldn't fit into the case. In those cases I drop the powder into a pan, then with the use of a funnel, slowly drop the powder into the case from a distance of 6-8 inches above the funnel. This settles and packs the powder nicely into the rifle case.

I've used the Lee powder funnel and the Lee Perfect Powder Measure on 9mm with no issues.

What he said. The funnel looks too large, but inside the "neck?" it has a smaller opening. It works for .223 no problem.

The funnel fits OVER the case mouth not inside it.

alanwk....... i typically use just the pan from my RCBS auto powder dispenser or my beam scale and just dump in the powder. I took an adaptor once from my manual RCBS powder dispenser and put the included adaptor on the RCBS funnel and used it........works great as well.

This pretty much takes care of all my pistol powder charging issues.
