.40 Recommended powder?

I use Power Pistol . I get Velocity and accuracy with it. I also use p38. I use hornady powder thrower and have yet to have any problem with it.

Ive read that power pistol was reallly picky, and should be avoided with .40s, especially for new-b's like me.

.40 is one of the cal's that I have been relaoding for. i use Win 231 and it seems to burn real good. I have used Green Dot before but it seemed to leave burn marks on my brass- almost like signs of leaking gas. But no problems with the 231 it seems to be very forgiving.

I have been using Winchester-231, 4.6gr under a 180gr lead flat nose with no problems. Shooting from an XD-40, good groups, and doesn't punish the shooter. I changed to Tite group, just to have something to compare to, haven't had time to shoot yet.
